Worries...?

For the past few weeks, what's been bugging me is how my time seems to be running out.

I've got two treatments left and on my last post I said I didn't feel a thing on my last treatment and because of that I felt it wasn't working.

Since my last treatment my hair has grown back loads on my arms/underarms. I've shaved my arms once since the treatment cos I had to wear a sleeveless top to a party. I haven't shaved since then and have still quite a bit of hair. I mean it's not like I'm back to my full growth but still it's daunting to know how this is all going to pan out.

When I first had laser treatment I didn't even have to shave once, my hair never really grew until my third treatment.

As with my legs, the hair never grew back. My only down side was when I pigmented. So I was put onto the yang for my legs also. Although, my hair hasn't grown back like my arms/underarms have on my legs, but I can see them starting to come through. It will take a while but they will come through eventually.

So technically my hair wasn't growing back with the old laser - yey - BUT it gave me pigmentation. And I think I asked a woman if I stick with the old laser but the temperature below the one that pigmented me, would I have better results still? But I recall her saying it could still pigment me as this has shown those lasers will do that to me, but 'the yang' is designed is designed for my skin tone.

Even though it's designed for my skin tone, I don't feel like I'm going to get the results I hoping for.

Even though this blog is to help give people an insight to laser hair removal, I guess what you have to remember to take into consideration - is my skin tone! It may not be as complicated for lighter skin tones, as it has been with me.

4/6

So it’s a week later and it’s my first treatment where I will be getting my legs, arms and underarms treated all at the same time. So it may take awhile.

First we started on my legs and then onto my arms and underarms.

My god – I mean I could have gone to sleep cos it felt like nothing was happening. I couldn’t feel the laser at all, I mean I’ve have people pinch me that made want to run out and flip a car over from the pain.

You may be thinking this is a good thing right? But I don’t know; I couldn’t feel an ounce of feeling that it made me wonder whether it was even working. Even more so as it seemed like forever cos I was getting all my areas treated and I had the woman who doesn’t really talk so the time wasn’t passing itself by.

Well actually I’m lying cos I did feel something from the treatment – the freezing air that comes out of the gun. I was basically half naked and have someone freeze me to death. I mean the air is to help your skin cool down from the laser, but since the laser didn’t even seen to do anything, there was no need for the air.

So after all this I just thought to myself, I’ve had my fourth treatment and it seemed like a waste. I've paid for six treatments, so what if my hair starts growing back – meaning the yang isn’t working and my time is running out.
And I don’t want to have to pay more but at this rate it seems likely.

Cos lets face it, it can be a painful to be beautiful – but I didn’t go through pain, so am I beautiful?

The Yang

A couple of weeks after my last post I had some test patches done from a different machine called the ‘yang’ which is specially designed for people with darker skin tones. I had to have a test patch done on my underarm, arm, bikini and leg.

The yang wasn’t really different from the other laser equipment, except when used the laser is green rather then red.

Since my body is having attitude problems against the powerful lasers, these patch tests were taken to show like therapy for my body, to see if it reacts well and lets the laser into its home – to destroy all the hair follicles!
