Update…

Well from the few zaps I did have on my arms, I notice a burn is already surfacing its rear head, which makes me think, will I just then have to stick with lower temperatures and hope for the best? Cos I have paid for a package of six treatments, and if I need more and have to fork up more cash, I…well I don’t even want to think about that right now!!

Don’t get me wrong, the higher the temperature doesn’t always mean better results. Although lower temperatures are better for lighter toned skin not darker.

Any hoo to put this in perspective, I had 12 volts on my legs which caused me to pigment. The few zaps, I did have, on my arms were also 12 volts, which has already shown to burn me* but not severely - but then again this was only an area, not the full arm. And the maximum temperature is 16 volts.

So my legs are reacting great as the hair doesn’t even grow – but I’ve pigmented.
And my arms haven’t pigmented on these high temperatures, but its not attacking the root.

Hmm…a pickle indeed!

Oh yeah cant remember if I mentioned this, but keep meaning to, its best if you don’t wear dark colours when getting treated as the laser thrives for it. Think of it like the sun, brighter colours reflect and darker colours absorb.*

* but hey that’s what I have my burn cream for

* haha I sound like a physics teacher
