Post treatment

As with all my treatments I have to continue my aftercare treatment, and the pain didn’t end with the laser, it actually hurt when I rubbed on the creams. I even noticed some burns caused by the laser, as you may remember this happened to me before and I was given some burn cream that treated the area nicely, so I’m glad I kept it.

So word to the wise, if you can’t handle the temperature – speak up cos you will end up with burns even if you think you are speeding up the hair removal process.

________

At times I feel having this is nearly as bad as plastic surgery, I mean what have we become in this society?

Although I only tend to feel this way when I’m actually getting the treatment, cos as I suffer from the pain, the question always pops in my head – is this worth it?
But I only ask this one day out of the all the weeks in between my treatments cos on the rest of the days I’m admiring my new hair free skin. And then I think, there are only a few more treatments left and I won’t have that odd day where I think if it is worth it cos I will feel that happy in my skin everyday after this is over.

So for once, something is worth the pain!
